For contractors in the GCC

Construction site management software for the GCC

Teams who speak many languages, consultants who want every inspection on paper, and summers that change the working day. daftar keeps the record straight through all of it.

Built for how GCC sites actually run

  • Your whole team in their own language

Supervisors send a voice note in their language; the engineer reads it in theirs. One tap translates every message and report — no interpreter on the group chat.

  • Summer hours on the record

In the UAE, outdoor work in direct sun stops 12:30–3:00 pm from 15 June to 15 September. Pours and other exempt work can continue. Daily reports log both, so lost hours are explained, not guessed. Gulf News

  • Consultants approve on the phone

Raise WIRs, MIRs and RFIs on site. Consultants join as free guests, see only what you share, and approve with photos and signatures.

  • Records that hold up in a claim

FIDIC-based contracts judge time and money claims on contemporary records. daftar stamps every photo and report with time and place, and every PDF with a QR code. Diales

  • Snagging before handover

In Dubai, developers must fix defective installations within a year of handover. Pin every snag on the plan with a dated photo, assigned and tracked to closed.

  • All your sites, from Dubai to Riyadh

See every active site on one map with today's reports, photos and conversations. Open any site in one tap.

A voice note in a jobsite chat, with its Urdu transcript and an English translation underneath

Your team already runs the site on chat. Keep the habit, lose the chaos.

daftar works like the chat apps your teams use today, so they start on day one. The difference: one conversation per site and topic, decisions pinned, and every photo filed where the office can find it.

  • Sign in with a phone number — no email needed
  • Works without signal in basements and remote sites
  • Reports on your letterhead, in English for the client

Priced by the jobsite

One price per active site. Unlimited staff. Guests — clients, consultants, suppliers — are always free. Sites on hold cost nothing.

A working day on a GCC site, with daftar

  1. 06:30 · Toolbox talk. The foreman records attendance and the topic on the phone. Photos stamp with time and place.
  2. 08:00 · Inspections. The site engineer raises a WIR for level 5 rebar. The consultant, invited as a guest, gets it on the phone.
  3. 10:15 · Deliveries. The storekeeper photographs the delivery note; daftar reads it and files it under the site.
  4. 12:30 · Midday break. In a UAE summer, outdoor work stops until 3:00 pm; the pour team continues as exempt work. Both go on the record.
  5. 15:00 · Snags and tasks. The engineer pins three snags on the level 2 plan and assigns them to the MEP subcontractor.
  6. 17:00 · Daily report. Filled by voice in the supervisor's language, signed on site, and in the project manager's inbox as a PDF on your letterhead.

The working calendar your records need to reflect

Output on GCC sites changes through the year, and your reports should show why:

  • Summer midday break — in the UAE, 12:30 to 3:00 pm, 15 June to 15 September; 2026 is its 22nd year. Exempt work includes concrete pouring and asphalt laying (Gulf News).
  • Ramadan — in the UAE, private-sector working hours are reduced by two hours a day; extra hours are treated as overtime (Gulf News).
  • Weather — sandstorms and the occasional heavy rain stop cranes and external works. Log the times and photos the same day.

When a planner later asks why March output was lower than January's, the answer should already be in the daily reports.

Records that stand up in a FIDIC claim

Claims for time and money are judged on contemporary records — records made at the time, or just after (Diales). The records that matter most are the ones that are hardest to keep on paper: daily labour and plant, delays with causes, instructions received, and dated photos. daftar captures each of them as the work happens, and every PDF carries a QR code anyone can scan to check it's genuine.

How we get you started

  1. Demo on one of your sites. We show daftar with your real reports and people.
  2. Set-up together. We create your sites, invite your people and build your report forms on your letterhead.
  3. First week on site. Your team installs the app and signs in with a phone number. No training days.
  4. Add sites as you go. Each active site is one price; finished sites stop counting.

Questions from GCC contractors

Which languages does daftar support?

Messages, voice notes and reports translate into each reader's own language with one tap. Book a demo to see your team's languages.

Can the client see our internal conversations?

No. Guests see only the conversations they're invited to.

Can we keep our own report forms?

Yes. Start from 30+ templates or rebuild your own, on your letterhead. We set up your first sites with you.

Does it replace our WhatsApp groups?

That's the idea. daftar works like the chat apps your team knows, but with one conversation per site and topic, decisions pinned, and every photo and report kept where the office can find it.

Does our team need email addresses?

No. Everyone signs in with a phone number.

How is daftar priced in the GCC?

Per active jobsite, with unlimited staff and free guests. Tell us how many sites you run and we'll send a quote, usually within one working day.
